Coloured quartz

Coloured quartz is an extremely durable broadcast aggregate based on natural quartz sand. By using coloured quartz as a broadcast sand, the wear and slip resistance of the surface are increased while maintaining a beautiful, decorative appearance. The floor, therefore, protects against slipping even in wet conditions.

The rough surface of the coloured quartz creates a very strong bond with the binder. Additionally, the grain provides excellent grip for tires and shoe soles.

Application

Coloured quartz, when used as a broadcast floor, is ideal for highly stressed applications such as milking parlors, slaughterhouses, cold storage, and the fish and other food industries.
